Everybody Counts | 5-Questions, 2-Minutes

In case you missed the Equity Census, or are a new member of Equity, a
brief 5-question demographic confidential survey is now available. This
new survey covers only the fundamental demographic data we need in order
to effectively advocate on your behalf. Your information will be treated
as strictly confidential and will only ever be reviewed or disseminated in
an aggregated format.

Email communications at caea.com to request an invitation to Everybody
Counts, a questionnaire regarding age, culture and ethnicity, disability,
gender identity and sexual identity.

The ongoing collection of information about the diversity of Equity's
membership will allow us to measure the impact of member diversity on work
opportunities, engagement patterns and income earned on an ongoing basis.
The data is a powerful tool in collective bargaining for equitable
representation of diversity onstage and in related hiring. It also informs
advocacy recommendations to funding bodies (federal, provincial and

Equity members' demographic data is stored and protected in a distinct
table, separate from any other member data, with anonymous links to ensure
that it is used in statistical analysis only. It will be protected to the
same high security standards used for all personal data, as set out in
