Watershed Regeneration Council (DWRC)

Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) is
seeking members for a 2 year term for the Don
Watershed Regeneration Concil (DWRC), a volunteer
committee established to achieve TRCA's vision for the
The Living City within the Don watershed.  

The Don River flows from the Oak Ridges Moraine
through VAughan, Richmond Hill and Markham, continuing
through the heart of Toronto before reaching Lake
Ontario.

TRCA is seeking members to advise and assist on the
following tasks and projects:

*Development of the updated watershed plan for the
Don;

*Waterfront initiatives including the naturalization
and flood protection project

*Advocating for Toronto Region Remedial Action Plan;
and

*Acting as a local champion for the Don Watershed.
