Environmental Commissioner of Ontario to release Special Report

Report to discuss the ability of Ministry of Environment and Ministry 
of Natural Resources to fulfill their mandates

Gord Miller, the Environmental Commissioner of Ontario, will release 
a Special Report on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at Cambrian College in Sudbury.

The report will discuss the challenges that the Ministry of the 
Environment (MOE) and the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) have 
faced over the past fifteen years.

Environmental Commissioner of Ontario's Special Report on the 
Capacity of MOE and MNR to carry out their duties

The Environmental Commissioner of Ontario (ECO) is an independent 
officer of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario and is appointed to a 
five-year term. The Commissioner issues annual reports to the 
Assembly reviewing the government's compliance with the Environmental 
Bill of Rights.
