Our theme this week is No-cook Summer Meals. Enjoy some fresh meals that don't require cooking, or better yet - let us do the cooking for you! Many of our prepared foods can be enjoyed hot or cold and there will be a great variety available this week. See our menu items below for details. 

As we move closer to the school season, we are starting to increase our dinner selection for fall. We are also adding a new Chicken dinner feature, which will be available every Saturday. 

With so many fruits & veggies in season, we have been busy canning and preserving. Watch for fresh batches of Red Pepper Tapenade and Homegrown Antipasto, coming soon. For those of you who have been waiting, we are making Bombay Eggplant Chutney this week so it will be in the store soon too! 

Ontario Produce Update 

There is lots to choose from in the store right now, however many things will be slowing down very soon. Green beans are almost over, so enjoy them while you can. We're right into tomato season. We have a great variety including yellow and red roma tomatoes, field tomatoes and mini heirloom tomatoes that are such a treat and must be tried! We are also moving into peppers season, and will have a fantastic variety of colours available from white to purple. 

Unfortunately, the cold weather has delayed our crop of edamame. We will let you know as soon as it's readily available. 

We still have lots of Ontario fruit including wild blueberries, peaches, nectarines, bartlett pears and jersey mac apples. We have a variety of plums available and will continue to have everbearing Ontario strawberries (yes, Ontario!) until frost.

Wednesday Fish: Rainbow Trout with Sautéed Garlicky Spinach, Braised Bok Choy & Mushrooms and a Roasted Roma Tomato topped with our Mediterranean Marinated Feta 

  

  

Thursday Features: Parmesan Crusted Chicken Tenders with a Scalloped Potato Medley, Baked Mac & Cheese 

Saturday Chicken Feature: Panko Crusted Chicken Breast with Rich Mushroom Sauce served with Herbed New Potatoes and Maple Glazed Baby Carrots
