                        Places to Grow. Food Conference

On Thursday and Friday, April 12 and 13, 2007, the Ontario Farmland  
Trust will host a conference titled "Places to Grow...Food" at Peter  
Clark Hall, University of Guelph.  This conference will open a  
dialogue on creating a sustainable local food supply and explore  
issues that surround the preservation of Ontario's farmland.  Plenary  
speakers linking local food and land preservation issues are Elbert  
Van Donkersgoed, Dr. Wayne Caldwell, & Dr. Stewart Hilts.
