In April 2007, the Priorities for Ontario Coalition released a detailed set of policy recommendations aimed at addressing critical environmental issues like water and air quality, clean energy, climate stability, forest protection, toxic and waste reduction and curbing urban sprawl.

Priorites for Ontario held an exciting debate on Ontario's environmental priorities with Donna Cansfield representing the Liberal Party, Blair McCreadie representing the Conservatives, Peter Tabuns representing the NDP and Victoria Serda representing the Green Party. There were good discussions of policy approaches and the kind of thinking that will be needed to address the environmental challenges facing Ontario.
