GO LAKESHORE SERVICE

Effective Sunday, October 29, GO train service on the Lakeshore West line
will be extended to Aldershot on weekends and holidays.  This will affect GO
bus service west of Oakville.  For details, visit http://www.gotransit.com.

 

PUTTING ONTARIO ON TWO WHEELS CONFERENCE

Organized by the Cycle Ontario Alliance, being held at the Kitchener Delta
Inn in Kitchener on Friday, November 2, with a gathering on Thursday evening
and a cycling tour around Waterloo Region on Saturday morning.  Agenda is
attached.  

 

There is also a survey about the level of commitment to cycling by your
municipality, which can be found at http://www.cycleoa.ca/.  Organizers have
requested a response to this questionnaire by today, in order to give them
time to compile the data.

NEXT GREENTRANS MEETING

Monday, October 29 at 7:00 p.m. at Oakville Town Hall, Meeting Room 'B', to
the left of the main doors.  Accessible by Bus #20 from the Oakville GO.

 

NEXT OAKVILLE TRANSIT ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING

Wednesday, November 14 at 7:30 p.m. at Oakville Town Hall, Committee Room 1.
It is hoped that there will be a report on the route review at this meeting,
since this item is scheduled to come before the Community Services Committee
in late November.
