Dear Rouge Duffins Friends:

Our environmental future is in our hands (and in this case our feet). 

With the provincial election underway, and a federal election probable
within the next year, we have an opportunity (responsibility?) to further
environmental policies.

The Rouge Duffins Greenspace coalition has produced 10,000 copies of a full
colour non-partisan environmental flyer (attached).

We need you help to deliver this flyer door to door over the next four
weekends.

We need to encourage our neighbors to contact their political leaders and
advance environmental protection policies.

Flyer delivery is great exercise (you can lose weight and tone-up) and it is
a great way to communicate environmental objectives to your neighbors.

We will deliver the flyers in Pickering, Markham, Richmond Hill and
Scarborough.

Saturday  September 15, 2007     9:45 am to 12:00 Noon         1:00 pm to 4

If these dates do not work for you, you can arrange to pick-up flyers and
deliver them in your own neighborhood on your own schedule.

Please Email or call me to sign-up for one or more of the above flyer
delivery dates.   

This weekend we will meet at the Dunbarton High School parking lot on the
south side of Sheppard just West of Whites Road at the above times. We will
car pool and canvass near Finch.

We will print and distribute more flyers if we get more volunteers.  Please
spread the word through your contact network and bring a friend and family
member.  

The RDGC has also circulated a letter with ten environmental policy
questions and we will tabulate and publicize the results.
