**IMPORTANT MEETING AT CITY HALL THIS THURSDAY SEPT 20 @ 6:30** 

 

Your Help is Needed to Stop Urban Sprawl & Premature Development of Natural
Areas in Kingston 

 

Your attendance is needed at the City of Kingston Planning Committee meeting
this Thursday September 20th at 6:30 at City Hall. Important decisions will
be made at this meeting regarding the urban boundary and the order of future
housing development in Kingston. Please come out and let our city's
decision-makers know this issue is important to you. 

 

The city will be asking councillors to approve the proposed Urban Growth
Management Strategy which disregards key components of the detailed 2004
Urban Growth Strategy. Acceptance of this new document would open the door
to urban sprawl and premature development of natural areas. 

 

Although critical decisions will be made at this meeting, we have been
advised that public delegations will not be allowed. Please print the
attached pin and wear it to the meeting to let city councillors know your
concerns (see attached document).
