We encourage you to forward this email to friends and colleagues. Attached

details as shown below and 2) "Ahead of the Storm: Preparing Toronto for
Climate Change". We will be sending you the summary document by the middle
of next week.

==============================================

How will we adapt to Climate Change?

Tell us what you think!

Our climate is changing. Toronto is already experiencing more heat, heat
waves and drought, as well as more frequent storms, heavy rain and flooding.

Changing your lifestyle by taking transit and reducing your energy use are
ways to reduce the emissions that contribute to climate change. These
changes are important, and they will make a difference. But our climate will
continue to change as a result of emissions already in our air.

The City and its residents have the opportunity to take additional
protective measures to prepare for climate change. We are developing a
Climate Change Adaptation Action Plan to make sure we're ready.

Please come to a Climate Change Adaptation workshop to tell us what you
think; how will we adapt to climate change?
