The Story of Stuff - Essex County Premiere!

>From its extraction through sale, use and disposal, all the STUFF in our
lives affects communities at home and abroad, yet most of it is hidden from
view. The Story of Stuff, written by Annie Leonard, is a 20 minute,
fast-paced, fact-filled look at the underside of our production and
consumption patterns.

The Real Green Link: Investing in Natural Infrastructure and Preserving
Biological Diversity in Essex County

A public forum on conserving and protecting habitat and existing greenspace,
featuring Phil Roberts, President, Essex County Field Naturalist's Club

Despite climate change and a pressing need to reduce greenhouse gas
emissions, road infrastructure continues to be built at a frenetic pace in
Ontario. Essex County is the focal point for proposed, new international
border crossings while also being one of Ontario's most important regions of
biological diversity. What opportunities exist for the protection of local
ecosystems under threat from urban sprawl?
