This file (PDF) talks about how some regulations habe been put in place to 
prevent farmers from using human anti viral medications on poultry...efforts 
to help retain the effectiveness of these drugs on humans. It sure would be 
good to know more about the role of sewage treatment in conferring and 
spreading antibiotic and antimicrobial resistance.
