EPC cuts deals with Calif. dairy farms to produce natural gas

Nov. 13 -- Environmental Power Corp. has deals with several California dairy 
farms that will create enough renewable natural gas to supply the needs of 
50,000 homes annually.
The Portsmouth, N.H.-based company will own and operate manure-to-gas 
projects at Bar 20 Partners, Maddox Dairy, Joseph Gallo Farms, Lancing LLC, 
Hollandia Farms Inc. and Cloverdale Dairy LLC that will also capture nearly 
1 million metric tons of greenhouse gases.

Gas from the farms will be sold to Pacific Gas & Electric.
