Workshop Reminder:

This one-day training session is intended to educate individuals active in 
the environmental field about the legal tools available to protect our air, 
water, land, and human health. Lawyers from the Sierra Legal Defense Fund 
will lead the workshops.

During the first half of the day, participants will receive a nuts and bolts 
overview of the laws that protect our environment, including: court actions, 
Ontario's Environmental Bill of Rights, the Canadian Environmental 
Protection Act, prosecutions, freedom of information, petitions under 
provincial, federal, and international law.

In the afternoon, SLDF lawyers, along with legal experts, will guide small 
working groups through specific fact situations and legal strategies.

The session will run from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM at the Sustainability Network 
Office, 215 Spadina Avenue, Suite 128, in Toronto.  $65/80.
