This sounds like sludge from the LA area  was spilled onto the road mixed 
with the contents of the  tomato truck near the Honeybucket sludge site 
north of Wasco in Kern County.  The so called Honeybucket farm mixes slge 
with a tiny bi of lime before spreading. Honeybucket is right next to the 
Wildlife Refuge.

Three big rig crashes affect morning commute

Three big rig crashes during the morning commute have created messes 
involving nectarines, tomatoes, sludge and liquid ashphalt.

The first crash happened just after midnight at 7th Standard Rd. and Hwy. 
99. The CHP says the driver fell asleep at the wheel, lost control and 
overturned spilling nectarines everywhere. The crash also damaged a part of 
the Union Pacific Railroad tracks.

The second crash involved two big rigs at the intersection of Garces Hwy. 
and Cocoran Rd. The crash involving a big rig carrying sludge and another 
carrying tomatoes happened just before 7 a.m. Wednesday.

The intersection was initially blocked, but there is no reported road 
closures. Officers say both trucks caught fire. Tomatoes spilled out 
everywhere, but the sludge did not spill.

The third crash happened on Millux Rd. near Old River Rd. about 7:45 a.m. 
This accident also involved a big rig and the driver is hurt. The CHP has 
shutdown Millux Rd. for an unknown period of time. There are reports of 
downed power lines across the road and liquid ashphalt spilling on the 
shoulder.
