Sludgewatch Admin:

Ontario's sludge-slinging waste maven Harvey (Skip) Ambrose is set to add to
his waste empire.
Notorious for paper sludge, sludge gun berms ('Sound-Sorb'), paper sludge as
non compliant 'fertilizer' Nitro Sorb, and widely reviled by rural residents
who oppose his aggressive sludge projects Anbrose is now looking for a
massive 1,000 tonne per day waste site in Peterborough, Ontario.

Catch the new name " LAKES TERMINALS & WAREHOUSING LTD".
Funny thing...last time I looked at that company name it was in the land
registry as the owner of a sludged up farm in Cannington that was formerly
owned by Brock Township councilor Reg Starr.

You may also remember Harvey Ambrose as principal of Ontario Disposal,
Courtice Auto Wreckers, and his association with Thermo-Tech (a facility in
Hamilton, Ontario).

Comment I am concerned with the residual waste created by processing 1000
tons of recycling plus the fact that the recycling is coming from across
North America. There is no possible way that processing 1000 tons a day of
mixed recyclables will not create residual waste, which means the end result
is that Peterborough is accepting and dealing with outside waste at the
landfill, which is contrary to City Bylaw 07-027, no person shalldeposit any
waste which originated from outside the city or county of Ptbo.
