Here is a little video (2 minutes) on the protest against using sewage 
effluent to make snow in a private snowboarding park in Flagstaff Arizona.

Staff from the US Geological Survey have tested the effluent and provided a 
report to their client..the city of Flagstaff.  Anyone can see the research 
by filing a request under Freedom of Information.  There are concerns about 
the nutrient and the pathogens, hormones, pharmacueticals , and personal use 
products polluting the streams and groundwater when the snow melts.

Tribal governments are deeply offended at the proposal to spray sewage 
effluent on the sacred peaks.
