Sep 6, 2007 — Shrewsbury Township: Supervisors asked solicitor Peter Solymos
on Wednesday night to pursue all possible legal remedies, including an
injunction, to stop the spread of sludge on local farmland.
The decision came after more than 70 residents packed the room to protest
that problem on a township farm. More than a dozen people complained of
conditions, including a bad odor that keeps them indoors with their windows
closed, health issues and concerns about the environment.

The supervisors told the group to select two or three representatives to
join a meeting with the York County Solid Waste Authority, the Pennsylvania
Department of Environmental Resources and state elected officials.
