TWO FULL-TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE AT FACTORY THEATRE
		
Factory Theatre is seeking a full-time Administrator, and an Assistant
Front of House & Box Office Manager. The Factory is located in an
historic building in downtown Toronto. The facility houses the 100-seat
Studio Theatre and 200-seat Mainspace. Also included on the premises are
a large courtyard, administrative offices, and rehearsal hall. Factory's
2002/3 season will feature 7 plays and one play development festival,
and host a variety of other activities throughout the year. The company
is committed to the development and production of new Canadian plays.

Administrator
	
Reporting to the Managing Director, this position is primarily
responsible for the office management and book-keeping at Factory
Theatre. This central position works closely with the Managing and
Artistic Directors, and all senior staff members of the theatre's
departments. Factory is looking for someone who is detail-oriented and
enjoys working in a team environment. The successful candidate should
preferably have knowledge of Microsoft Office and Simply Accounting.

Responsibilities include:
.	Book-keeping, payroll, and the production of regular financial
reports
.	Reporting and remitting of all government taxes
.	The preparation of all necessary materials for the auditor
.	Working to ensure the Managing Director is apprised of current
cash flow and all cash disbursements in relation to expense budgets
.	The efficiency of office equipment and systems, and the ordering
of all office supplies
.	Coordination of space rentals and schedules within the
building's two theatres and rehearsal hall
.	Working with the Managing Director to administrate all contracts

Assistant Box Office & FOH Manager
	
Reporting to the Facility Manager, this position's primary function is
to ensure the efficient, accurate, and customer-friendly running of the
box office and front of house areas. This is an entry-level arts
administration position and requires a person who is detail-oriented,
comfortable with various computer software, and with the general public.

Responsibilities include:
.	Telephone and in-person ticket and passholder sales including
data entry and reconciliations
.	Working with and assisting Factory's administrative,
fundraising, and marketing personnel
.	Assisting the Facility Manager in:		
.	Scheduling of staff and volunteers
.	Weekly box office reporting and deposits
.	Volunteer recruitment
.	Ordering of Box Office and Front of House supplies
