CASTING CALL

 The Arts Club Theatre Company is accepting resumes for the following roles in its upcoming production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken:

SEYMOUR:    Male.   Mid-twenties and perhaps balding a little.  Insecure,
naïve, put-upon; a sweet and well-meaning man.

AUDREY:   Female.  Early-twenties.  Sweet, vulnerable.

MR. MUSHNIK:  Male.  50's.  A New Yorker of  Eastern European descent.

ORIN:   Male, 30s.  Tall handsome dentist with a black leather jacket and
sadistic tendencies.

THE VOICE OF AUDREY 2 (The Plant):    A deep male bass voice - a cross
between Otis Redding, Barry White and Wolfman Jack.

CRYSTAL, RONNETTE and CHIFFON:    3 Females.   Functions like a Greek
Chorus, inspired by the Supremes and other "girl groups" of 60's Motown.

          The production will be directed by Bill Millerd and choreographed by Jim Hibbard.  Rehearsals will begin on or about January 15, 2003, and the show will run at the Granville Island Stage February 6, 2003 - March 22, 2003.

          Those selected for an audition will be asked to prepare a song from the show.  Resumes will be accepted until the end of business on Friday, August 23, 2002.  Please do not submit resumes by fax or email.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
