Responsibilities: 							
*	Performs administrative responsibilities; Performs program
development by facilitating health promotion and wellness education
planning and implementation activities; Participates in skills and
capacity building activities; Participates in research and evaluation
techniques; Provides consumer-oriented health information and reference
service to women clients using print and electronic resources;
Participates in academic forums.

Qualifications: 							
*	Required: 
*	At minimum, a completion of a Master's degree program in health
promotion, health education, adult education, nursing, social work or
recognized equivalent 
*	Up to four (4) years of relevant experience 
*	Relevant experience working with professional artists 
*	Experience in health promotion, health education, adult
education, and community development 
*	Ability to perform duties in a professional and courteous manner
and produce high quality work while meeting deadlines in accordance to
UHN standards 
*	Exercise initiative and good judgment with ability to multi-task

*	Compliance with confidentiality requirements 
*	Effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication
skills 
*	Knowledge of applicable legislative, UHN and/or departmental
policies 
*	Client service oriented, with the ability to effectively work
with diversity and appreciate that people with different opinions,
backgrounds and characteristics bring richness to the challenge or
situation at hand 
*	Knowledge and experience of health promotion, population health,
community development principles, as well as the determinants of health 
*	Ability to work collaboratively as a AHC member and with the
Artists' Health Centre Foundation 
*	Ability to work collaboratively with other program staff and
community agencies in order to provide activities, programs and services

*	Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate
in a thorough, clear, and timely manner 
*	Ability to demonstrate respect for the innate strengths of
individuals and communities 
*	Demonstrates an awareness and understanding of communities and a
response to their needs 
*	Understanding/knowledge of conventional and
complementary/alternative health practices 
*	Knowledge of computer systems, databases and the internet 
*	Ability to take initiative and do the right thing at the right
time without being asked
