As strike looms,
Quest Theatre offers local parents an option.
DRAMA DAY CAMPS

In the face of a potential province wide teachers strike, General Manager
Rose Brow announced that Quest Theatre will offer daily drama camps for
Calgary children during the potential strike.

“This is an unfortunate situation for everyone. Quest Theatre’s mission is
to provide innovative and entertaining works that enhance young people’s
lives. Because of this we felt compelled, as an organization, to do what we
could to ease the burden on the families that will be affected.” Says Brow.

Professional actors/instructors will provide activities for children that
include storytelling and improvisation. Classes based on a variety of topics
will focus on process rather than product. Small class sizes of ten to
fifteen students will ensure individual attention and a creative
environment for all participants.

Camps will be provided for children ages 7 - 12 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
daily. The cost will be $30 per day. Before and after care is available for
an additional fee. Camps will take place at St. Philip’s Anglican Church,
629 49th Ave. SW.
