Ruth Smillie, Artistic Director of Globe Theatre in Regina, will be
holding auditions in Vancouver July 28th and 29th from 10am to 4pm for
Honk! a musical comedy.  The production dates for Honk! are:

Rehearsals:  October 15th o November 13th, 2002.
Performances:  November 14th to December 22nd, 2002.

 

Artists of every culture are invited to audition for the available
roles:

Drake/Greylag (30's-40's) Baritone or Bass-Baritone
Turkey/Barnacles/Bullfrog/Father Swan (30's-50's) Bass-Baritone
Maureen/Snowy/Queenie/Old Woman (30's-50's) Soprano or high mezzo

Actors auditioning for Honk! will be asked to present one monologue (3-5
minutes) and to sing.  Ruth requests that only actors with experience
singing professionally in musicals or with advanced singing training
book audition appointments.  Dance experience/training is an asset for
this production.

The auditions will take place at Carousel Theatre, 1411 Cartwright
Street on Granville Island.
