Acting and the Business
an acting workshop on June 22 &23, 2002 
with Multi-Award winning Director, Producer and Actor JEFF SEYMOUR.
 
Originally from Los Angeles, Jeff has over 22 years experience as a
teacher. 
Along with running his own studio, he has taught at some of America's
most 
prestigious schools.  He has also taught seminars around the world.  
Jeff just directed and starred in David Mamet's "Speed  the Plow", 
which ran at the St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts in May.  He has 
completed a book on acting called "I Don't Ask You To Be a Tree" 
and has a feature film going into production  this summer.
 
The two day seminar will deal with the business side of acting, as well
as 
scene study, where you will use Jeff's refreshingly straightforward
approach 
to acting.  
 
The cost for the workshop as a scene study participant is two hundred
dollars.
The auditing fee is one hundred dollars. 10% off for Equity members.
 
It will be held at "the Space" 489 Dupont St. on June 22 &23 from  10am
to 5pm.
