AUDITION: TALE OF A MASK: Toronto 
THEATRE AUDITION NOTICE - Two (2) Female and one (1) Male performer(s).

fu-GEN Theatre Company is auditioning for a workshop of TALE OF A MASK
by Terry Watada. The workshop will take place on Thursday, November 28th
until Sunday, December 1st.

We are seeking both UNION and NON-UNION performers, and performers will
be paid, for their participation. 

We require two (2) Female and one (1) Male performer(s).  
 
The Characters: 
Aiko Shinde:  A first generation immigrant woman, post war, in her later
twenties. 
Setsuko Harrison:  Middle aged Japanese woman.  Energetic woman with a
commanding presence.
Detective:  Middle aged male.  He's a member of the Chinatown Task
Force.

Please note that these roles are race-specific.  All actors of Asian
decent are encouraged to apply.

Auditions will take place on Monday, November 11th, 2002 and Tuesday,
November 12th, 2002.  Auditions are by appointment only, and actors
chosen will be contacted by the company.

Requirements:  Auditionees will be required to prepare one contemporary
monologue of their choice (1-2 minutes).  Please be prepared to do a
cold reading.
