AUDITION NOTICE PLEASE POST


The Vancouver Playhouse Theatre Company will be holding auditions for
our upcoming production of Hello Dolly, Book by Michael Stewart, Music &
Lyrics by Jerry Herman, with Michael Shamata as director and Lloyd
Nicholson as Musical Director.  Relevant dates are as follows:

Auditions:	April 21 - 23, Callbacks in May 
The Vancouver Playhouse Production Centre

Vancouver:		Rehearsals:		October 13, 2003
Open:			November 13, 2003
Close:			December 13, 2003
Potential Holdover: 	to December 27, 2003

	Owner of a New York hatshop
	Apparently mature and worldly-wise, but still has hope and
innocence
	Sings Ribbons Down My Back and It Only Takes a Moment (among
others)

CORNELIUS HACKL
	25 - 40
	Vandergelder's chief clerk
	Knows nothing of the world - a true innocent
	Sings Put On Your Sunday Clothes and It Only Takes a Moment
(among others)

BARNABY TUCKER
	16 - 25
	A junior clerk at Vandergelder's
	Wide-eyed, innocent, with a mischievous streak
	
AMBROSE KEMPER

	An artist
	In love and determined to win the hand of Vandergelder's niece
