Vox Theatrix, an Equity approved Co-Op presents...

A Workshop Reading of

"Together, Apart"
by Sean Curran

At Graffiti's Bar and Grill
170 Baldwin Street, Toronto
(in Kensington Market)
April 24, 2003

A fundraiser for the late spring presentation of An Evening of One Act
Plays.

Vox Theatrix is presenting a staged reading of a new play in a relaxed
cabaret like setting. Audience members are invited to attend, share in
some refreshments, listen to a work in progress and assist in the
creation of new work by offering feedback to the company in a mediated
question and answer session following the reading.

Together, Apart, by Canadian playwright Sean Curran, is a story of
family strife, mended and broken relationships, the artist's struggle, a
domineering father, an absent mother, a family friend, and a secret
passion.

Andrew Freund directs and dramaturges the play. The acting company is
comprised of newcomer Lada Darewych as Faith with John Wallace as Ted,
Regan Thiel as Hope and Maryke Hendrikse as Clare. Heather Lacey stage
manages the evening.

Tickets for the reading are Pay What You Can and available at the door.
The doors open at 7 p.m. The reading begins at 8 p.m. Admission is first
come first served and seating is by general admission.
