Seeking:

[MAX BIALYSTOCK] 40s-50s. A formerly successful Broadway producer who
now fleeces wealthy elderly women to support his failing business.
Loud, pushy, fast-talking, and always one step ahead of getting caught
'in the act.' New York born and bred, Jewish, shrewd, intelligent, and
a dirty old man. Must sing reasonably well (baritone/tenor, up to G)
and be a world-class comic actor. Leading role.

[LEO BLOOM] 30s-40s. Timid, by-the-book accountant turned Broadway
producer. Has lived a monotonous and uneventful life until his
"business venture" with Max. Also New York born and bred, Jewish. An
extremely likable loser who eventually comes into his own, and even gets
the girl. Must sing reasonably well (baritone/tenor, up to G) and must
dance or at least move very well. Leading role.

[ULLA] 20s-30s. Tall (at least 5'9"), sexy, voluptuous, great-looking,
Swedish assistant to Bialystock and Bloom. Must be a great belter,
dance very well, and be a terrific comic actress who can fake a Swedish
accent. Good supporting role.

[FRANZ LIEBKIND] 30s-50s. Wild-eyed author of the surprise musical hit
"Springtime for Hitler." Born and raised in Milwaukee (of German
descent), he is slightly deranged and under the delusional belief that
he served under Hitler as a soldier of the Third Reich. Must sing and
move well. Baritone (up to F). Good supporting role.

[ROGER DE BRIS] 20s-40s. Former Broadway chorus dancer turned
unsuccessful director/choreographer. Larger-than-life, flamboyant,
self-involved, and delusional, with a bent toward the grandiose. Must
be played by a bold and comically gifted actor who sings and dances
well. High baritone (up to G). Good supporting role.

[CARMEN CHIA] 20s-40s. Roger's wildly flamboyant gay assistant. Must
sing reasonably well. Also must be a bold and comically gifted actor.
High baritone/tenor (up to A-flat, with a strong falsetto). Good
supporting role.

[FEMALE ENSEMBLE] 20s-30s. Seeking female dancers (5'8" or taller)
with jazz, ballet, and tap training who sing very well to comprise the
ensemble (may also understudy ULLA). We strongly encourage submissions
of dancers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds. Also seeking several
character actresses who sing very well and dance well to play featured
roles (Hold Me Touch Me, etc.) throughout the show.

[MALE ENSEMBLE] 20s-30s. Seeking male dancers (5'10" or taller) with
jazz, ballet, and tap training who sing very well to comprise the
ensemble (may also understudy principals). Strong acrobatic skills are
a big plus. We encourage submissions of dancers of all ethnic and
racial backgrounds. Also seeking several character actors who sing very
well and dance well to play featured roles and understudy the
principals.
