BLYTH FESTIVAL - POSITION AVAILABLE

PRODUCTION MANAGER
The Blyth Festival seeks an assertive, energetic Production Manager for
the 2003 summer season. The successful candidate will have excellent
leadership and communication skills. Experience with all aspects of
technical production is required. Computer skills and budgeting
experience are also necessary. The contract will run until Sept. 14
(date subject to change).

The Blyth Festival will produce a repertory season of four mainstage
productions and one remount in 2003. Minutes from Lake Huron, Ont.,
Blyth is a small and attractive farming community. The festival has
excellent production facilities on site in the "Garage," which features
fully equipped shops for carpentry, paint, props and wardrobe.

DUTIES:
Supervise production for the 2003 Blyth Festival summer season;
interpret design concepts through communication with all designers;
assist with production where needed; supervise and authorize production
purchases; maintain production budgets and report same to General
Manager; supervise all crew members; co-ordinate rehearsal schedules
with stage management; prepare and maintain production schedules.
