AUDITION: BANANA BOYS: Toronto

THEATRE AUDITION NOTICE - One (1) Male performer

fu-GEN Theatre Company is auditioning for a workshop of BANANA BOYS by
Leon Aureus, adapted from the novel by Terry Woo.

The workshop will take place from Monday June 30th - Sunday July 13th. A
fundraiser will take place in early April. 

We are seeking both Equity and NON-Equity performers, and performers
will be paid for their participation.

We require one (1) Male performer.

The character:

MIKE: A Chinese-Canadian male, aged 20-25. Pre-med student at the
University of Waterloo, goes on to med school at the University of
Toronto. An aspiring writer who is trapped by familial obligation to
become a doctor. 

Please note that these roles are race-specific. All actors of Asian
descent are encouraged to apply. 

Auditions will take place from Wednesday, March 19th to Thursday, March
20th. Auditions are by appointment only, and only the actor chosen will
be contacted by the company.
