JOB - COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR - TORONTO

Communications Coordinator, Theatre Ontario
 
You love theatre in all its forms.  You regularly attend theatre, both
community and professional.  You've worked in theatre and would enjoy
supporting theatres across the province.  
 
AND...
 
You are a communications specialist with proven experience producing
newsletters and brochures.  Your written communications skills are
impeccable.  You communicate with charm, excitement and fun.  
 
Absolute musts:
*        Total ease with computer applications and capabilities
*        Can work immediately in PageMaker 6.5 (windows format) and
Photoshop
*        Design and maintain websites with alacrity
*        Organized
*        Excellent grammar and spelling in English (French a bonus)
*        Previous work with an Ontario theatre 
 
Desirables:
*        Degree in theatre and/or Arts Management
*        Experience with Filemaker Pro
*        Flexible: can take responsibility for own projects and work in
a team on others
*        Fantastic sense of humour
 
Theatre Ontario is a leading arts service organization.  We serve
community, professional and educational theatres, individual members and
theatre supporters with a variety of programs.  Our main area of focus

Salary range: $26,000 - $27,500   (Salary under review).
This is an eight-month contract position.  It may be renewed.
