The National Theatre School of Canada is inviting applications for the
position of Coordinator of the Playwriting Program. The ideal candidate
would have solid experience and expertise in new play development;
he/she should have a significant body of professional work, either as a
dramaturg or playwright/dramaturg.  The successful candidate would be
expected to plan and administer the 3 -year curriculum of the program.
Responsibilities would include:

*	supervising dramaturgy, mentoring and teaching of the 6
playwriting students (2 students per year) 
*	teaching playwriting and/or theory classes
*	hiring and scheduling of faculty 
*	participating in pedagogical meetings, working on a team within
the school community 
*	continuing to develop the curriculum to meet the ever-evolving
needs of a highly individualized program
An application should include a detailed resume, the names of 3
professional referees, and a letter of intent. Applications will be
accepted until March 15, 2004. Only applicants being considered for an
interview will be contacted.
