Theatre cares week in Vancouver capped off with
Gala benefit:  A BURLESQUE VALENTINE

Through Theatre Cares Week (February 9 - 15, 2004) and other events 
throughout the year, Theatre Cares Vancouver raises funds and 
awareness for the Actors' Fund of Canada, local HIV/AIDS relief, and 
a third charity selected each year by the Theatre Cares Committee. 
For 2004, our Guest Charity is PAL Vancouver.  So get on board with 
Theatre Cares and help us support these worthy causes, whose work is 
so invaluable in our community!

Capping off Theatre Cares Week, Theatre Cares Vancouver presents our 
third annual gala benefit, A BURLESQUE VALENTINE.  This will be an 
outrageous evening of big bawdy fun, performed by some of Vancouver's 
finest theatrical, comic and musical performers.  The evening also 
features a Silent Auction with thousands of dollars worth of items 
donated by local artists, hotels, restaurants, spas, wineries, and 
countless other local businesses.

Directed by Katrina Dunn and John Murphy, guest-hosted by Breakfast 
TV's Michael Eckford and Fiona Forbes, Ellie Harvie and Shawn 
Macdonald, and James Fagan Tait, A BURLESQUE VALENTINE will be 
bursting with naughty surprises.  At least partial nudity guaranteed!

Tickets are $50.  Any seats still unsold on the day of the event will 
be available at a special Equity / Artist rate of $20 each, on a rush 
basis.
