AUDITION - TORONTO
-----------------------------
Théâtre Geminaî Theatre announces auditions for an URGENT REPLACEMENT (lead) for the upcoming production of Coeur à deux (Heart For Two) originally written in French by world-renowned author Guy Foissy and new English translation by Mariusz Sibiga.

The play will be directed by Jennifer H.Capraru (Artistic Director of the Dora award winning Theatre Assylum) and will take place at Theatre Passe-Muraille-Mainspace from August 5th to 15TH. Rehearsals begin on July 18th. This production will be part of Summerworks Festival.

Coeur à deux/ Heart for Two, is a one act absurd comedy, which will be played first in French and then in English. The play is a two hander and is a great challenge for the actors. The writing style of the author is a cross between Ionesco and Edward Albee.

*	Bilingual (French/English) who is familiar with the international French dialect
*	Between 25 and 35(acting range)
*	Who has a good comedic sense
* Preferably established (but we are also looking at recent theatre graduates from recognized programs)
*	Available from July 18th to August 15th.

To get a copy of the play and to get an audition time, please fax your picture and resume to (416) 533-7603 as soon as possible.

For more information you can contact Geneviève Cholette (Artistic Director) at (416) 691-8776.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members participating in this production will be signed to a Fringe waiver and all net proceeds from the production will be divided equally among the participants.
