Stage West Mississauga is currently accepting submissions for A CHORUS
LINE, directed and choreographed by Phil Nero

Auditions will take place on July 26th and 27th in the form of an
INVITED dance call We thank you for all submissions but only those
invited to the dance call will be contacted

Casting Breakdown

Cassie:  Early 30s  A strong woman with underlying vulnerability Must be
a triple threat

Sheila:   Early 30s  Sexy and edgy with a chip on her shoulder

Val:   Mid 20s  Very brash, forward and a bit rough around the edges
Requires body type  described in her song Dance 10

Diana:  Mid 20s  Puerto Rican with hard Latina exterior but a 
wealth of compassion inside Strong acting skill required

Judy:  Mid-late 20s  A bit on the ditzy side  Sweet girl who lacks the
New York grit

Kristine: Early 20s Scattered and kinetic  Nervous and self conscience

Maggie:  Mid 20s  Charming and spunky  Strong actress who can tap into
deep emotion And a strong voice with a strong belt

Bebe:   Mid 20s  A bit of a plane Jane whose beauty lies in her dancing
Strong emotional  singing voice       

Connie: To play early 30s but looks mid 20s  Oriental and short  Strong
and feisty

Mike:  Mid 20s  Italian Strong and masculine with an unpolished quality
          Strong tap required

Ritchie: Mid 20s  Black   Energetic and charismatic Strong pop tenor
voice

Don:   Mid 20s  A charming player type with a million dollar smile

Paul:   Late 20s  Puerto Rican Gay with a slight effeminate quality
Boyish charm  that makes you want to take care of him=  Strong acting
skills required

Mark:  Early 20s  Young and green  Very eager to please, and tries very
hard  Perhaps a little socially uncomfortable

Greg:   Early 20s Jewish Gay A bit of an open book Very friendly

Bobby: Mid 20s  Slightly arrogant and full of bravado A bit mixed up and
a little off his rocker

Al:  Late 20s-early 30s  A mans man yet sweet and supportive to his wife
Kristine
           
Larry:   Late 20s - early 30s  A quiet and calming presence  A real
people person

Zach:   Mid - Late 30s  A throw back to the days of Bob Fosse and Jerome
Robbins and Michael Bennett Gruff and to the point

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
