Buddies in Bad Times Theatre
Announces auditions for the upcoming production of
Snowman
by Greg MacArthur

Buddies in Bad Times Theatre's Artistic Director David Oiye will be auditioning for the role of DENVER for their production of Snowman which will run in the Chamber from Sept. 21 to Oct 10, 2004. The play is written by Greg MacArthur and directed by David Oiye.

DENVER is a mid-thirties trailer park sort of guy, living with his common-law wife Marjorie in a small town on the edge of a glacier. Together they run the town's video store. Denver befriends a displaced teenager named JUDE who rents gay porn from them. When Jude finds a prehistoric body buried in the glacier, the bonds between the three begin to pull in unexpected ways. DENVER is a man who has seen better days, but still maintains a masculine sexuality that is appealing to all the other characters in the play, including Jude.
