Audition Requirements:
Seeking comedic actors for the Toronto Production of the Off-Broadway
play GAME SHOW. Ability to improv a plus.

GAME SHOW "America's Favourite Trivia Contest" is set during the live
broadcast of a fictionalized game show. The audience of the show is
also the studio audience of the "live telecast." Audience members will
be picked to be contestants, play the game, and win actual prizes.
During the course of the show we meet the regulars who work on the set,
and during the "commercial breaks" we follow the behind the scenes
relationships.

SEEKING ONLY THE FOLLOWING ROLES:

TROY RICHARDS: (30 and older): The long-time host of Game Show. He is
loved by the viewers, in spite of his arrogance, greed and womanizing.
A combination of Alex Trebek, Richard Dawson, Regis Philbin, and David
Letterman. Must be charismatic and quick with ad-libs.

ELLEN RYAN: (mid 30's): The Line Producer of Game Show. Very tough,
very smart, and manipulative, but knows how to use her femininity and
looks to get her way. We get the feeling there might be a long trail of
men in her past.

JOE MCGUIRE and JERRY SMITH (30's-40's) They are "the union" camera men
for the show, who will actually be running the live cameras. They are
down to earth, not "show-bizzy" like the rest of the cast. Both
probably enjoy watching sports and drinking beer, and being "guys."

IF YOU AUDITIONED FOR GAME SHOW APRIL 20-22, 2004, THERE IS NO NEED TO
RESUBMIT AT THIS TIME
