Discount tickets are available for JUNO AND THE PAYCOCK, by Sean
O'Casey, which runs at Talbot Theatre in London from October 29th
through November 6th.

$10 tickets are available to CAEA members for 8 pm performances on Oct
29-30 and Nov 3-6, and for the 1 pm performance on Friday Nov 5th. The
box office is run through the Grand Theatre: (519) 672-8800.

Juno and the Paycock is about the Boyle family, residents of a Dublin
slum who receive news of an inheritance that will lift them out of their
poverty and hardship. Set in the midst of the Irish Civil War in 1922,
the play is full of family squabbles, songs, romance and comedy, and yet
it is also haunted by the violence of war.

Playwright Sean O'Casey completed the play in 1924. It was wildly
popular when it premiered in Dublin's Abbey Theatre, and it has remained
so for 80 years. A recent survey done by Britain's Royal National
Theatre placed it in the top 15 plays of the 20th Century.

The director is Jeff Culbert, Artistic Director of Ausable Theatre in
London.
