E-DRIVE - AUDITION - TORONTO

DareDen Theatre Inc. is casting a one-week developmental workshop of a
new play Diving Down After by Daniel Karasik.  The workshop will take
place November 15 - 22, 2004, culminating in two staged readings and
will be directed by Jeannette Lambermont with Elley-Ray Snow (Hennessy),
Richard McMillan (TBC) and Terrence Bryant.
	
Set in Halifax in 1917 during the Halifax Harbour explosion, against the
backdrop of the First World War. A small, simple tale of family tragedy
and redemption.

CHARACTERS SOUGHT

Miranda: 17 years old. Disturbed, mysterious, agitated, strong-willed. A
loner with an intense passion.  

Jacob: 16 years old (also plays 26). Hopelessly romantic, impulsive,
selfish and loyal. Another loner, seeking adventure and something to
define his life.

AUDITIONS

Auditions to be scheduled for November 2, 3 and 4. Please prepare a
short monologue and be prepared to read from sides, which will be
provided in advance. Equity and non-equity welcome. This is a paid
Equity-approved workshop.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
