THE ORGANIC CREATIVE PROCESS
My Organic Creative Process evolves from where the Method, other systems, and the great teachers like Stanislavski, my father and Stella Adler, left off. I define, and train Talent, Imagination, Intuition and Spontaneous Inspiration, the Natural Laws of Creativity that remained a mystical, invisible world to teachers before me. My basic training develops the actor's knowledge of him/her self. Beginning with, and developing from, your natural capacity to become deeply involved, an actor dreams awake, creating a new life, from real and imaginary life. You make the invisible world visible; expressing your, intuitive and conscious, vision of life in your art. Because, an artist has something to say about life.

3. STAGE COMBAT WITH TONY WOLF - TORONTO
--------------------------------------------------------------
Tony will be offering

Wolf System of universal principles of stage combat and movement. Tony's unique system focuses on the six universal movement and staging principles of synergy, extension, alignment, articulation, illusion and cascade. From this basis, literally any fighting style can be safely represented in performance.

Bartitsu: the Martial Arts of Sherlock Holmes. In 1898, an Englishman named Edward William Barton-Wright founded the "New Art of Self Defence" known as Bartitsu, combining Jiujitsu, Savate, boxing and walking stick fighting. This workshop is a practical introduction to Barton-Wright's style, which was immortalized by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in his Sherlock Holmes stories. Learn the secret throw that sent Professor Moriarty to his doom from atop Reichenbach Waterfall!

Gun Fu. Inspired by the trend towards stylised gunplay in action movies (Equilibrium, Desperado, Devil May Cry, etc.) this workshop will cover: Close-quarters handgun combat (disarms, traps, locks, parries), both unarmed vs. handguns and the unique Gun Sau form in which both fighters are armed, integrating acrobatic and martial arts skills into stylised handgun combat (rolls, falls, combat stances, etc.), translating cinematic Gun Fu into live performance, and Gun Fu sparring using specially modified laser guns, for that extra edge of realism!

Saturday May 14 & Sunday May 15
10:00 - 4:00
$450.00 (plus GST)
$350 (plus GST) for Rapier Wit, FDC, Equity, and ACTRA Members if full fee is paid by May 9
