Acting workshop for actors and non actors
Led by     Victor Mora
                                                                     
In this workshop the doers develop the essential elements of organicity
that will give
them the opportunity to confront themselves with their body-life in the
present-moment.
Having unblocked the body, the flow of emotions and feelings are
organically free.

Victor Mora has been a professional working actor, director and acting
teacher for 25 years.
He has trained with: Vladimir Pechkine (Russia) Augusto Boal (Brazil)
Pina Bausch (German)
Stanislaw Scierski (From Jersy Grotowski's Theatre Company) Miguel Ponce
(Cuba-Venezuela)

2. SHAKESPEARE INTENSIVE - TORONTO

Shakespeare & Stanislavski with Diego Matamoros
One - Week Shakespeare Intensive For Actors - Spring 2005

Approach the works of Shakespeare without fear!

A)	Explore the power of Shakespeare's language through monologue
	scenework, movement and voice.

B)	Discover practical solutions to specific problems.

C)	Understand Shakespeare's verse and speak it with clarity and
passion.

Soulpepper Founding Member Diego Matamoros will work with a maximum of
12 to 14 actors on scenes from Shakespeare's plays emphasizing Mr.
Matamoros' personal approach to constructing a character through both
Stanislavskian and verse analysis. These intensives will also include
classes with Soulpepper coaches Mark Christmann (movement/mask), Diane
Pitblado (voice/accents/dialects) and Kelly McEvenue (Alexander
Technique and movement). 
When: Monday, May 9th to Saturday May 14th, 2005 - 10:00am to 6:00pm

Place: 	Helen Gardiner Phelan Playhouse - 79 A St. George St.

Deadline for applications:Friday April 29th, 2005 @ 5pm

Cost per session: Fee: $500/session , Equity Rate: $400/session
