AUDITION - WATERLOO

The Perimeter Institute, a world-class research centre devoted to 
fundamental physics located in Waterloo, ON, will produce Steve Martin's

"Picasso at the Lapin Agile" in October, 2005.  A top calibre creative
team 
is being assembled to produce this show as a part of "Einsteinfest," a 
spectacular three-week celebration of the 100th anniversary of 1905 -
the 
year in which Einstein published his groundbreaking papers that would
lead 
physics - and the world - into the modern era.

Production:  "Picasso at the Lapin Agile" by Steve Martin

Rehearsal dates:  September 26-October 17, 2005 - Waterloo, ON

Performance dates:  October 18-23 (with matinees) - Mike Lazaridis
Theatre, 
Perimeter Institute, Waterloo, ON

Director:  Michael Peng

Resumes and headshots are now being accepted for the following roles:

Freddy - male,  30's.
Gaston - male,  60's.
Germaine - female,  35ish.
Albert Einstein - male, 25ish.
Suzanne - female, early 20's.
Sagot - male 50's.
Picasso - male, 23ish.
Schmendiman - male, 20's to 30's.
Visitor - male, 20's.  A young Elvis Presley

Auditions:  Sunday, August 21st from 1-6pm, with callbacks on Monday,
August 
22nd, 1-4pm.  Location:  Mike Lazaridis Theatre, Perimeter Institute for

Theoretical Physics, Waterloo, ON

Requirements:  Please prepare 2 contrasting contemporary monologues of
no 
more than 2 minutes in length.

**AUDITIONS WILL BE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.  ARTISTS WILL BE CONTACTED TO 
ARRANGE AUDITION TIME  All information must be received by August 17,
2005.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
