AUDITION - TORONTO

DareDen Theatre Inc., 
in association with The Shakespeare Globe Centre of Canada, the City of
Brampton and St. Andrews United Church.

Production: Shakespeare's "The Merry Wives of Windsor" in an outdoor
urban setting in the courtyard at St. Andrews United Church in Toronto. 

Rehearsals begin June 13 and the show opens July 15, running to August
7, 2005. There will be eight day-tours to Brampton prior to the Toronto
opening.* Our approach to the work is inspired by the principles and
vision of the Globe Theatre stage in London, England. The project will
be directed by Jeannette Lambermont.

* all dates are subject to revision at the theatre's discretion

This is an Equity E-house contract, under the Independent Theatre
Agreement.

The following roles are NOT available: Falstaff, Ford, Page, Mistress
Page, Mistress Ford, Mistress Quickly, Fenton, Anne Page. Priority will
be given to Equity members although there are a limited number of
non-Equity positions.

Only those individuals selected for an audition will be contacted.
Submissions will not be accepted via fax or email.  Please do not send
video cassettes.

REQUIREMENTS:

Equity - 2 classical monologues - your choice (recommended length - not
more than 2 minutes)
Non-Equity - 1 classical monologue - your choice (recommended length -
not more than 2 minutes

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
