Theatre Cares Vancouver presents the RESTORATION PROJECT

Theatre Cares Vancouver is organizing three nights of staged readings of brilliant classic comedies inside the stunning Christ Church Cathedral to raise money for the Actors' Fund of Canada, local HIV/AIDS relief and PEERS Vancouver.

The line-up of local talent is amazing.  On board for directing are Bill Millerd, artistic managing director of the Arts Club Theatre; Kathryn Shaw, artistic director of Studio 58; and James Fagan Tait, a 2005 Jessie Richardson award nominee for adaptation and direction of this past season's incredible production of Crime and Punishment.  Chris Allan, Peter Jotkus and Kris Nelson will share stage management duties.

The players are among the finest in Vancouver, including Patti Allan, Peter Anderson, Toby Berner, David Bloom, Joy Coghill, Ted Cole, Kerry Davidson, Josh Drebit,Noah Drew, Kathleen Duborg, Lesley Ewan, Jillian Fargey, Allan Gray, Doug Herbert, David Hudgins, Terence Kelly, Andrew McNee, Kevin McNulty, Kelly Metzger, Allan Morgan, John Paterson, Melissa Poll, Sarah Rodgers, Laara Sadiq, Nathan Schwartz, Donna Soares, Mike Stack, Courtenay Stevens, Richard Strachan, Jonathan Sutton, Lee Vincent, Lisa Waines and Mike Wasco, with more still to be announced.

Wednesday, June 22:  The Way of the World, by William Congreve, directed by James Tait
Thursday, June 23:  The Rivals, by Richard Sheridan, directed by Bill Millerd
Friday, June 24:  School for Scandal, by Richard Sheridan, directed by Kathryn Shaw

All shows at 7:00 p.m. and admission is by donation.  All performances at Christ Church Cathedral at 690 Burrard Street (at the corner of Georgia)
