Sunshine Theatre Auditions

Artistic Director David Mann will be holding auditions at Carousel
Theatre (small studio) in Vancouver June 28, 29 and 30. These will
consist of General Auditions as well as callbacks /readings for specific
roles in the 2005/06 season. Season includes:

THE REMITTANCE MAN by Kevin Kerr (premiere)
Mid September / October, 2005
Requirements: 2f (1 to play 30's, 1 to play teen), 3m (various ages)

QUARRY By Mo Bock
Early January / mid February, 2006
Requirements: 2f (1 to play 30's, 1 to play early 20's), 1m (to play
40's-50's)

HERE ON THE FLIGHT PATH by Norm Foster
Mid February / March, 2006
Requirements: 1f (to play 20's-30's), 1m (to play 40's)

We are also planning a community Christmas musical, SEUSSICAL, requiring
2- 3 professional musical theatre performers (m/f), for Nov. / Dec. 2005

General Auditions:
Tuesday June 28 - 9am to 9pm (Equity/ non Equity)
Wednesday June 29 - 9am to 6pm (Equity / non Equity)

Please prepare two contrasting monologues (contemporary preferred) no
longer than 3 minutes each in length. Optional: add a brief song,
movement/dance piece or other skill  An accompanist is being arranged
for Equity musical audition slots.

Callbacks / readings:
Thursday June 30- 9am to 6pm

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
