The story revolves around Annie Oakley, an illiterate hillbilly with a
knack for shooting guns. Persuaded to join Buffalo Bill's Wild West
Show, she soon falls hopelessly in love with Frank Butler, the show's
featured shooting ace. But when Annie eclipses Frank as the show's main
attraction, she realizes she'll have to make some hard choices if she
wants to win the man she loves. This classic Broadway musical will be
presented in a semi-staged concert format starring Louise Pitre in the
title role and Country Music Star, Paul Brandt, as Frank Butler. 

SEEKING:

CHIEF SITTING BULL: late 40s- 60s. MALE. To portray Native American.
The legendary Sioux warrior who defeated General Custer at the battle of
The Little Big Horn, he meets and becomes a fatherly figure and mentor
to Annie. He has great presence and dignity. Good featured role.
Singing is not required.
 
Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under the ITA sector 2.
