CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS - VANCOUVER/WHISTLER

Whistler Theatre Project Emerging Artist Development Program
Whistler Theatre Project is pleased to announce the inaugural season of
its Emerging Artist Development Program.  
We are looking for 4 Actors, 1 Stage Manager and 1 Arts Administrator to
apprentice/intern with the artistic company and staff. This is a nine
week program commencing on July 4, 2006 and all positions are paid.  

Actors
The four EADP actors selected will apprentice and be part of the acting
company and mainstage production, A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Stage Manager
The EADP stage manager selected will be the apprentice stage manager for
the mainstage production, A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Arts Administrator
The EADP arts administrator selected will work as an intern with the
Artistic Producers and Director of Operations with a focus on the
mainstage production, A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Those interested should mail a current resume and cover letter
specifying which component of the program you are interested in. Actors
should include a current headshot.

Those interested in Acting should address Zaib Shaikh and Todd Talbot,
Artistic Producers. 
Those interested in Stage Management and Arts Administration should
address Lynn May Mirfield, Director of Operations. Please note that the
deadline for submissions is November 30, 2005. Actors selected to
audition will be part of the general auditions held in Vancouver on
December 5 and 6, 2005 and in Whistler on December 7, 2005.  Interviews
for selected applicants to the Stage Management and Arts Administrator
positions will be held in Jan/Feb 2006.

Whistler Theatre Project will operate under the ITA agreement and
selected actors and stage manager for Emerging Artists Development
Program will be eligible for CAEA apprentice credit.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
