# 1634 Creating Your Own with Richard Greenblatt
Mon- Fri 10 am- 1 pm
Oct 31- Nov 4
CAEA $240 Non-CAEA $300
EXTENDED Deadline for application: Tues, Oct 25 (only a few spots left!)

Using various writing, performing, and improvisational/collective
creation techniques, the participants will work on creating their own
theatrical material. This is not a writing workshop per se, but some
writing outside of class will be involved. It is a class that will
explore methodology and principles in getting at the specific stories
and images of our lives and the world around us.

# 1629 Set Life (Part I) with Jennifer Wigmore
Sat & Sun 12- 6 pm
Nov 5-6
CAEA $140 Non-CAEA $180
Deadline for application: Tues, Oct 25

By making a lasting impression you increase your chances of getting
work. There are far fewer Directors and Producers than actors, and good
Directors and Producers work often. Creating "repeat customers' is
essential to your survival in the business. Part I of this class takes
you through the unique world of life on a set. From etiquette to set
lingo, to who's who and what they do. This class teaches actors to make
a lasting impression by being a top professional.

# 1613 Acting for the Camera with Brenda Bazinet
Mon & Wed 6:30 - 10 pm
Nov 7- 23
6 classes
CAEA $290 Non-CAEA $310
Deadline for application: Thurs, Oct 27

Through scene-study, the students will learn how to work in front of the
camera, how to stop acting and start listening and how to be simple, yet
full of emotion. Course content will include script analysis, character
development and finding yourself in the role. This course is not for
beginner actors but would be appropriate for actors making the
transition from stage to film/ television.

# 1616 Shakespearean Scene Study with Rod Ceballos
Tues & Thurs 7-10:30 pm
Nov 8- Dec 1
8 classes
CAEA $320 Non-CAEA $400
Deadline for application: Thurs, Oct 27

The emotional power of Shakespeare's language and the visceral
connection between the actor and those words will be the focus of this
class. Monologues and scenes will both be used to explore text, nuance
of language, rhythm, and verse as they affect character and the world of
the play. Finding a personal connection between actor and character
will also be investigated. Participants will be expected to do a
significant amount of preparation and rehearsal outside of class time.
