The Shaw Festival is currently accepting resumes for its 2006 season.

The Shaw is a major repertory theatre that produces works written during
or about the time of George Bernard Shaw's life (1856-1950).   The
company is located in Niagara-on-the-Lake and operates during the months
of February-November inclusive.  Each stage manager is generally
assigned two shows per season along with limited ancillary activity such
as public readings.  

All candidates should have stage management experience working in a
diverse group of theatres including those under the jurisdiction of
IATSE and AFM; should have exceptional communication skills and enjoy
working as a member of a stage management team of 12; should be prepared
to work in a pressure filled environment; and should be prepared to have
fun.  Computer skills, basic first aid, and dexterity with a cricket bat
are definite assets.

Stage Management at the Shaw report to the Production Stage Manager and
are considered to be part of the Creative Management Department.
