JOB - DIRECTOR OF MARKETING - VICTORIA

Kaleidoscope Theatre, Vancouver Island's Resident Theatre for Young
Audiences is seeking an enthusiastic individual for the new contract or
half-time position of Director of Marketing and Development.  

Kaleidoscope's artistic mission is to create and present original,
innovative and relevant theatre experiences that stimulate and inspire
young people, and their communities.   The company operates within an
annual budget of $ 450 000 - 500 000.  

The successful candidate would be responsible for foundation
applications, sponsorship and corporate fundraising, individual donation
campaigns, oversight on annual fundraising event, front-of-house
displays and receptions, and all marketing conducted by the organization
including subscription campaign, group sales, campaigns to schools and
development of marketing materials.  This position reports to
Kaleidoscope's Business Manager and supervises a contract publicist,
contract desktop publisher, and website developer.

Hours are flexible.
